The approach proposed by the planning presented is integrated. It presents the four macro skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
The focus of the lesson is the development of reading, listening, speaking and writing skills, through a given topic.
I can find evidence of integration of macro skills in the initial activity: listening, reading and viewing; in the second activity: listening and writing; in the third activity: speaking and listening.
In the first activity I would have already included listening and speaking activities, through the reproduction of the audio of the video and questions about it, in order to detect what my students have understood and work on vocabulary, and then just move on to reading the text (which I assume is the reproduction of what was heard in the audio). “Listening and speaking: these two skills are highly interrelated and work simultaneously in real life situations. So, the integration of the two aims at fostering effective oral communication. This integration will assure real-life and purposeful communication.” (The Importance of Four Skills Reading, Speaking, Writing, Listening in a Lesson Hour. Lorena Manaj Sadiku. It is possible, useful and necessary to implement an integrated plan with my students, making the appropriate adaptations. “For the teaching of English to be successful, the four skills, reading, listening, speaking and writing, should be integrated in an effective way.” (The Importance of Four Skills Reading, Speaking, Writing, Listening in a Lesson Hour.
