a. What is the lesson focus?
The lesson is focus on reading and writing.
b. What skills are already there? What do you need to add to make it “integrated”?
Listening , speaking and viewing are already there. The lesson seems to be “integrated”.
c. Is there evidence of integration of macro skills? Explain your answer in three sentences.
d. Do you think it is a well balanced proposal? Why?
The lesson plan seems to be integrated because receptive and productive skills are developed in the lesson. A variety of tasks are provided, too. However, I consider that the lesson contains several activities to do in a very short time.
e. Would it be possible to implement this class plan with your group? What difficulties may your students face? How can you adapt this lesson plan to your context?
It would not be possible to implement the lesson plan with my group in 55 minutes.
My students would need more time to write the answers.
They have serious difficulties to write in a short time.
I would divide the lesson into parts.
-In reading and guided writing
- in listening / speaking activities
-project : stick photographs and pictures related with the topic for an oral presentation
Power Point may be an option in order to present oral production.
f. Would you have planned anything differently? Why?
No exactly, but I would divide it into parts.
