What I Know

What I Want to know

What I Learnt

Reading has two useful strategies: skimming and sacanning.

It is very useful to work with reading activities with steps:

Pre- reading activity

While-reading activity

Post-reading activity

The same steps are commonly used with Writing and Viewing.

I would like to know more useful strategies to work with these skills, including some games that can motivate students to work with these skills.

 Writing tasks:

- Word jumble

- Story with a twist

- Yummy writing

First Viewing activities:

- Sound- off

- Spot the action

Different examples of intensive reading vs. extensive reading
